Legal

Privacy Policy.

What we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what your rights are.

Trusted Access Limited ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through trustedaccess.co.uk, why we collect it and what your rights are. It applies to our enquiry form and to general use of the website.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. Your data is handled only by us, Lintel Digital (the studio that builds and hosts this website for us) and the service providers listed in "Who we share your data with" below.

1. Who we are

Trusted Access Limited is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16496745. Our registered office is Mitre House, Pitt Street West, Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, England, ST6 3JW. We are based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, and we are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We decide why and how your personal data is used.

You can contact us at [email protected] or 01782 479 094.

Lintel Digital builds and hosts this website and handles data on our instructions as our data processor.

2. The personal data we collect

When you send an enquiry, we collect your first name, surname, email address and message, and optionally your company name. We use this information to read and reply to your enquiry. Please do not include sensitive information, such as health details, in your message. We do not ask for it and do not need it.

When you browse the website, we collect anonymous page-view counts through Plausible, described in "Cookies and analytics" below. This does not identify you. Like most websites, our hosting also records standard technical logs, such as your IP address, the pages requested, your browser type and the time of the request.

This website has no user accounts, payments or customer database. The only way to give us personal data through it is the enquiry form.

3. How we use your data, and our legal basis

  • Replying to your enquiry. We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us about our services, and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
  • Keeping records of enquiries. We rely on our legitimate interests in keeping appropriate business records, and on legal obligations where they apply.
  • Preventing spam and abuse of the form, and keeping the website secure. We rely on our legitimate interests in protecting the website and keeping the form usable. The form includes a hidden field that automated spam fills in and people do not see.
  • Understanding how the website is used, in aggregate. We rely on our legitimate interests in understanding and improving the website.

4. Who we share your data with

We share your data only where it is needed to run this website and answer your enquiry:

  • Lintel Digital builds and hosts this website on servers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH in Nuremberg, Germany. Lintel Digital handles website data on our instructions and does not use it for its own purposes.
  • Resend delivers your enquiry to our inbox as an email. Resend is based in the United States and processes the email there. Resend is certified to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, which is the safeguard we rely on for this transfer. You can ask us for more information by emailing [email protected].
  • Our email provider hosts the inbox that receives your enquiry.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep your data

Your enquiry reaches us as an email, and the website does not store it in a database. We keep enquiry emails for as long as reasonably necessary to reply to you, to keep appropriate business records and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We then delete them, unless we are legally required or otherwise entitled to keep them.

Resend keeps a record of the email for a limited period under its own retention settings. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting. Analytics are aggregate counts and contain no personal data.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use cookies, and it does not use advertising or social media tracking.

On trustedaccess.co.uk only, we use Plausible, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to count page views. Lintel Digital runs Plausible on its own infrastructure rather than using a third-party analytics company. Plausible does not use cookies, does not store your IP address and does not build a profile of you or track you across other websites. It tells us aggregate information, such as how many people visited a page. It does not receive anything you type into the enquiry form.

Because no cookies are used and no personal data is stored for analytics, we do not show a cookie consent banner.

7. Keeping your data secure

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. The website is served over HTTPS, access to the servers is restricted to authorised Lintel Digital staff, and the enquiry form checks its input and guards against automated abuse.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate data;
  • ask us to delete your data, or restrict how we use it, in some circumstances;
  • object to us using your data where we rely on legitimate interests; and
  • ask for your data in a portable format, where the right to data portability applies.

To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

9. Children's privacy

This website is aimed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if the way we collect or use data changes. The current version always applies, and the date at the end of the page shows when it last changed.

11. Contact us

Questions about this policy, or about your data, are welcome at [email protected] or 01782 479 094.
